    Iain graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1995, and after working in Cornwall for 5 years he returned to Kelso. He now works part time in the Farm team at Kelso where he is also site manager. In addition, he still carries out duties as a RCVS Riding Establishment Inspector around the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh and Midlothian. In his spare time he enjoys watching Rugby, walking his dogs, playing Bass in a local band and trying to get his handicap down at Golf.

    Sean joined the team in 2019, after previously holding management positions in Social Housing, Procurement and the Royal Navy, including spells out on the high seas! He has a degree in business and enterprise, and is a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management. In his spare time, he enjoys running, walking and spending time with family.

    Maria graduated from Edinburgh vet school in 2017 and returned to her home county of Devon as a mixed vet. However, her love of Scotland has brought her back ‘beyond the wall’! In her spare time she is a keen rock climber and hockey player. She wouldn’t be without her furry friends, sharing her house with border terrier Dizzy and cat with attitude Arnie

    Hannah grew up in Fife and helped out on her uncle’s sheep farm from a young age. She graduated from Edinburgh Vet School in 2017 and worked in mixed practice in Cumbria before joining Galedin in 2019. Outside of work she is often found running the Borders countryside with her German pointer, cycling and playing tennis. She is also heavily involved with the UK Veterinary Christian Fellowship.

    Mary graduated from the Dick Vet in Edinburgh in 2020 and joined the team shortly after as a mixed vet. She enjoys the variety of work that being a vet brings. She grew up helping out on her family’s beef and sheep farm near Lauder and still lends a hand when time allows! Outside of work she enjoys baking, cycling around the Borders and attending young farmers events.

    Robbie was brought up in Orkney and qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2016. After graduating, he returned to Orkney where he predominantly worked in beef and sheep, before joining Galedin in 2018. His main interests are cattle work and in particular bull fertility. In his spare time he enjoys shooting, fishing and slowly ticking off the Munros.

    Jonny graduated as a veterinary surgeon from Edinburgh University in 2015 before joining Galedin in 2020. He has a keen interest in surgery, particularly orthopaedics but is also partial to seeing exotic pets. In his spare time he enjoys rock climbing and hill walking but is up for most adrenaline filled outdoor activities.

    Alexa was born and brought up on a farm in Selkirkshire and has always been around animals. She qualified as an RVN and has worked at various practices, from the north east of England to West Lothian, as well as spending time working in Malaysia. She now works at our Kelso branch and has a particular interest in medical nursing and preventative healthcare.

    Gayle has been at the Kelso branch since 2010. Starting out as an Animal Care Assistant she is now a Registered Veterinary Nurse having qualified in 2021. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing with anaesthetics, diagnostics her main interests but in particular she enjoys working with clients and running puppy parties. In her spare time she likes to ride her Horse and walk her dogs.

    Caitilin loves to see animals reunited with their owners after a day of being an inpatient at the practice with us and enjoys when they jump up to the reception desk to say hello! Outside work she loves horse riding and currently has three horses at home. When she’s not helping on the farm she also enjoys walking her two dogs Lottie and Stella.

    Charlly works on reception and is a passionate animal lover. She lives on a local farm with her partner and her mischievous golden retriever, George. Outside work, she enjoys helping on the farm, catching up on office work or out in the field in her wellies. She is a keen photographer and can often be found out in the countryside searching for that perfect snap.

    Lorraine has worked for Galedin since 2014, after moving back to the Borders from Kent where she had lived for 25 years and raised her two sons. She loves all the client contact and meeting the different animals that walk through the door. In her spare time she loves swimming, Pilates, walking, socialising, and spending quality time with her family.

    Ewan comes from a farming background with his father and both grandfathers being shepherds in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. However with ‘Safety in Numbers’ as a motto he trained and qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland subsequently working in Luxembourg, London and further afield before returning to the Borders to live in Jedburgh. Latterly he bred, sold and showed Blackface sheep and served as secretary of the Borders Branch of the Blackface Sheepbreeders Association for 18 years. All of the above serve him in good stead in his current role as part of the Galedin credit control team. Sport and Travel are other interests which keep him occupied.
